Import Coordinator

Brecon Foods, a Montreal-based leader in the frozen food industry, is looking for a detail oriented problem solver to join our Import Logistics Team. The successful candidate must be easily able to anticipate client expectations, respond quickly to unforeseen obstacles and possess superior communication skills to build and grow existing and new relationships. Exceptional English communication skills are required to service and build large North American corporate accounts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Schedule import ocean reefer shipments into North America
  • Manage customs and FDA releases
  • Communicate and confirm deliveries with all members throughout the supply chain
  • Problem solve with ocean carriers, forwarders, warehouses & truckers
  • Work closely with Trading, Quality and Financial Departments

·        International Business Experience

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite of programs (Excel, Outlook, Word)

• Sound ability to multi task


1 – 2 years in related field
Experience in International Trading and Food Sales an asset
University degree preferred. Business, Economics, Commerce, Management
Excellent English skills required. Additional languages an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
